HobbyCraft approached me to create a quirky fun animation to promote National Knit In Public day, on-line through YouTube and Facebook.
I created a crazy animation combining knitted toys and objects coming to life as a girl starts knitting in an outdoor park scene. The park slowly transforms into a knitted world and the creatures briefly play a spot of football before the world turns back to normal.
The creation process brings together photography, illustration and heavy amounts of post production and stop frame animation to bring the world to life. Audio is by Mr Underwood.
