Picasso on Paper

A touring exhibition of Picasso’s printed works on paper from the Museum Kunstpalast in Germany came to Compton Verney in 2016. I was tasked with creating a brand style and graphical identity for the exhibition, together with the design of the graphics for the exhibition spaces, including directional signage, timeline and extended learning room. The modern graphical approach complimented the monotone graphical nature of the artworks on display, with the subtle use of the signature red tone highlighting and holding all aspects of the exhibition together. I managed and organised all aspects of design, production and installation for all assets.

LEARNING ROOM

A major part of the exhibition was the learning room which explained the various techniques Picasso used for his printed artworks. The design style continues throughout the space onto handouts and directional signage.
