MasterCard Cash Passport

To promote MasterCard’s Multi-Currency Cash Passport payment card I was asked to provide concepts for a fun, distinctive animation to both promote and explain the benefits of the card for an international audience.

We created the concept for a funky faux neon 3D man and world, conceived the story and structure, script and created the storyboards and animatics. The idea was fully realised using a combination of illustration, animation and post production techniques, taking the neon character on a journey across the world as he uses his new cash Passport payment card. The animation was set to a bespoke audio soundtrack and sound fx (by Mr Underwood) with separate voice-overs in English, Australian and Brazilian for local markets, as well as subtitled versions for trade shows.
